My cousin's husband recommended the place and oh boy did he not disappoint !!! My adventurous family had a taco of each meat personally, the buche was my favorite! I also had a cemitas de asada!

Without a doubt, SANTA RITA'S TACOS are the best in EAST LOS ANGELES. Many places and taco stands in LA want to imitate Santa Rita's tacos, but the secret is in the SAZON they add when cooking la cabeza, las tripitas,la lengua, la carne asada.....You can also enjoy los pescuezos.....by the way they should add tacos de birria in their menu again....

Chicken neck bones? YESSS!! OK, so it sounds weird, but they're delicious. Crunchy chicken skins turn into taco fillings alongside the pickled onions and red salsa. Don't forget to buy extra salsa, a little spicy but it's a game changer.

This place is a vibe. Live music and other vendors (candy and postres) on Saturday night. The chicken necks are so good and the salsa has a very spicy kick to it. Love the tortillas here. Al pastor, lengua, tripe, cabeza, buche - can’t go wrong with any of these.

Tacos here were 1.75- big jaw drop for NYers. The tacos had great flavoring, tiny tortillas in comparison to many other taquerias. These were “bocadillos” or mini bites. The locale has nice lighted outdoor seating in the form of benches and tables. We stopped by at around 9:30pm and there was a lady selling Mexican candy here too. The salsas were delicious as well. Great quick dinner when in the area!
